The visitor corridor (bridge) was constructed within the site of the Taisei Corporation Group’s Next-Generation Technology Research Institute, located in Satte City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
An experimental testing field is situated beneath the corridor. To separate visitor circulation from ground-level activities, the structure was designed under the fundamental requirement that no large structural members—such as beams or trusses—be placed beneath the corridor.
